Things could have turned nasty after Dillian Whyte and Martin Bakole had a heated interaction in Poland on Saturday night.

Whyte was there to watch the WBC bridgerweight title bout between Lukasz Rozanski and Alen Babic, which the home-town fighter went on to win by first round stoppage.

Footage emerged of heavyweight contender Bakole, who fought on the undercard, confronting former world title challenger Whyte.

The fighter from the Democratic Republic of Congo approached Whyte and called for a fight.

Whyte immediately seemed agitated, repeatedly telling Bakole: “Don’t talk to me, bro.”

Bakole told Whyte that he’s ready for a fight with him, as onlookers attempted to keep the two men apart, and the 29-year-old added: “Shut up motherf***er.”

‘The Bodysnatcher’ then began walking upstairs and told Bakole: “Come upstairs if you want to fight,” as a shouting match ensued.

Eventually Whyte walked away, labelling Bakole a ‘b****’.

But, Bakole was not done there, as he continued shouting: “Let’s make a fight you bum, I’ll knock you out cold, just say yes to the fight… F*** you, motherf***er.”

While Bakole could represent a potentially entertaining clash for ‘The Bodysnatcher’, for the time being Whyte’s focus is on securing a rematch with long-time rival Anthony Joshua.

Promoter Eddie Hearn recently revealed in an interview with IFL TV that it is ‘very likely’ he will make an offer for Joshua to fight Whyte at a stadium on either July 29 or August 6 this year.

With that being said, first Joshua will want to finalise a fight with Deontay Wilder that is rumoured to be taking place in December as part of a Saudi Arabian funded heavyweight tournament, which would also feature Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.
